Where we excel

574423_62988874ACA is a school that was founded to provide children the very best quality education integrated with the values, truths, and morals from the Bible. These biblical values, morals and ethics are modeled and taught by staff, positively impacting the young children in their care. The professional staff is caring, dedicated, and committed to each child’s success. Children are supported in a loving, nurturing, family atmosphere, allowing learning to take place where they feel safe and comfortable. ACA is a school committed to educating the whole student as they are exposed to a variety of experiences in academics, fine arts, sports and fields trips, and in special subjects such as art, PE, music, Spanish, library, and computer.  Hands-on multi-sensory experiences appeal to children with a variety of learning styles, and small class sizes lead to very favorable teacher-student ratios. Smaller class sizes also afford the opportunity for leadership experiences and participation in competitive sports programs in the middle school years. ACA’s Kindergarten program and Young-5 transitional Kindergarten offer full day options for children entering elementary school.

A spiritual focus is integrated into all academic areas and in weekly chapel programs where students enjoy teaching from a variety of pastors and youth pastors representing home churches of the school families. The school has an evangelical mission to guide students in establishing a personal relationship with Christ and developing a life- long devotion to Him, recognizing that all truth is God’s truth. As students learn to serve the Savior, they also learn the value of serving others. Students are involved with community service projects in nursing homes, food pantry and food banks, pregnancy centers, local Christmas gift drives, homeless ministries, rescue missions and The Boston Project urban homework center ministry.

ACA is a ministry of the First Baptist Church of Toms River, NJ and enjoys the privilege of the use of the church’s spacious facilities. First Baptist Church is also the source of governance leadership, guidance and regular financial support.

Communication between teachers, administration, and families is achieved through weekly classroom newsletters and updates on the class websites. The bi-monthly LINK, the school newsletter is sent home on Fridays and is posted on the school website www.ambassadorchristian.org. E-mails are sent to remind and inform parents of upcoming events and deadlines. Parent Reach, an emergency call system, sends families immediate information concerning school closings and emergencies.
