Dress Code
The personal appearance of each student helps to set the learning and spiritual atmosphere of Ambassador Christian Academy . A wholesome appearance that honors the Living God is marked by neatness and modesty and appropriateness, avoiding extremes and fads that would compromise a Christian’s witness.
The Lands’ End Catalog is the standard of dress at ACA. All selections must conform to the following school dress standards:
1- Modesty, decency and appropriateness must prevail in all clothing selections
2- Tight or sloppy clothing is prohibited; shirts with tails must be worn tucked in with a belt.
3- Skirt/jumper length must be no more than 2” above the mid-point of the knee
4- T-shirts are not allowed except as part of a gym uniform.
5- School clothing colors for polo shirts and sweaters: red, white or blue (light blue or navy blue).
General Guidelines
1 - Prohibited: mention of occult, Satanic, or unacceptable worldly philosophies in dress, jewelry, or other accessories.
2- Excessive jewelry is not allowed; girls (only), pierced stud jewelry allowed in the ear lobe. Boys are not allowed to wear body jewelry of any kind. Children through 5th grade: no facial make-up allowed. Middle Schoolers: excessive make-up is not allowed.
3- Hair must be kept neat, kept out of eyes and be of the student’s natural color. Fad haircuts are not allowed. Boys: hair length needs to be off the shirt collar.
4- Appropriate undergarments must be worn. No head coverings or outside jackets are to be worn inside the school building.
5 - The following Dress Code Apparel can be found in the Lands End Catalog.

Chapel Day
Every Thursday students participate in our school Chapel program. Therefore students dress-up from their regular school attire.
Girls
• Plaid or solid color jumper or plaid or solid color skirt (only Lands’end Hunter plaid)
• white oxford or white peter pan shirt
• black,brown or navy dress shoes
• navy or white tights, knee highs, or ankle socks
• NO SKORTS OR POLO SHIRTS
Boys
- navy or khaki chino pants(pleated or plain-front)
- dress oxford shirt in blue or French blue
- black or brown dress shoes
tie- plaid (Lands’End Hunter plaid only) or navy blue
Gym Day:
Girls and Boys- Our Gym Uniform is a school-approved gym outfit that must be purchased from Bay Traders located on Charles Drive in Toms River . Phone # 732-286-0334
Please purchase:
-blue sweatpants (solid with thin stripes on sides)
- blue sweatshirt with school logo,
-yellow t-shirt with school logo
- blue gym shorts
-solid white or solid black sneakers (no flashing lights or cartoon characters)
Regular Days
Girls
Solid navy or khaki jumper, no corduroy
(Note: skirt/jumper length must be no more than 2” above mid-point of knee. Also, navy blue
