ABOUT AMBASSADOR CHRISTIAN ACADEMY
Founded in 1979, Ambassador Christian Academy is conveniently located in the heart of Toms River at 700 Main Street. It offers a quality classical Christian education for students in Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade.
Ambassador’s goal is to graduate highly educated students able to think critically, articulate masterfully and contribute compassionately to their world.
Ambassador Christian Academy is dually accredited with the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and the Association of Christian Schools International. It provides a challenging course of academics with classes in art, music, technology, foreign language, logic, public speaking and Latin in addition to traditional core subjects of language arts, math, history, and science integrated with Biblical Truth.
ACA’s teaching staff hold professional degrees, and are certified and experienced in meeting the educational needs of children. In a nationally recognized survey, Ambassador Christian Academy ranked in the top ten percent of private schools for parent satisfaction.
Fine facilities include large classrooms, a well equipped library, a computer lab with Pentium generation equipment, an art room and music room for student creativity.
Few decisions have a more lasting impact on their lives than the choice of their school. An ACA experience is an unforgettable one as teachers encourage students to walk in Truth while being challenged to new academic heights, and friendships are cultivated that extend beyond the ACA years.
America’s fine schools are known by what they value, because what is valued will be taught. At Ambassador, education begins with the realization that all truth is God’s truth and that only in seeking God’s truth will a person be truly educated.
The uniqueness of Ambassador Christian Academy lies in its ability to balance an excellent academic program with a vital Christian environment. The development of Christian character and the skills to form healthy, positive relationships compliment each student’s academic growth.
ACA admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
As an accredited school, ACA teachers are required to have college degrees and be certified. This requirement creates a high caliber of teaching staff who impact ACA students in a positive way, challenging them to be stretched and grow to their fullest God-given potential.

Where We Excel
Ambassador Christian Academy was founded to provide children the very best quality education integrated with the values, truths, and morals from the Bible. These biblical values, morals and ethics are modeled and taught by staff, positively impacting the young children in their care.
The professional staff is caring, dedicated, and committed to each child’s success. Children are supported in a safe, caring, nurturing atmosphere, allowing learning to take place. Ambassador is a school committed to educating the whole student as they are exposed to a variety of experiences in academics, fine arts, sports and fields trips, and in special subjects such as art, PE, music, Latin, Spanish, library, and computer.
Hands-on multi-sensory experiences appeal to children with a variety of learning styles, and small class sizes lead to very favorable teacher-student ratios. Smaller class sizes also afford the opportunity for leadership experiences and participation in hands on learning and field trips.
The 3 and 4 year old PreK, is offered as a 3 or 5-day program with art, music, library, PE and Spanish amid exciting classroom instruction within a nurturing, safe, and spiritual environment.
Ambassador’s Kindergarten program is a full day program, solidly equipping children to enter the rigorous elementary school.
A spiritual focus is integrated into all academic areas and in weekly chapel programs. The school has an evangelical mission to guide students in establishing a personal relationship with Christ and developing a life-long devotion to Him, recognizing that all truth is God’s truth. As students learn to serve the Savior, they also learn the value of serving others. Students are involved with community service projects in nursing homes, food pantry and food banks, pregnancy centers, Habitat for Humanity, local churches, Christmas gift drives, homeless ministries, rescue missions and more.
Student Support Services
Field trips reflect the classroom academic focus. Students look forward to special trips at each grade level such as the Middle School fall retreat and the 8th grade end of year trip. Trips to museums, plays, historical sites, exhibits, and community service projects all add to a quality and enriched educational experience.
School bus transportation to Ambassador is available through the local public school districts in Ocean County at no additional cost. Ambassador students share busing with students from a local parochial school.
The health office is staffed with diligent, professional, caring nurses who provide on site services for children. They perform annual screenings for vision, hearing, and scoliosis and record height and weight information for all students. The nursing staff oversees the medical needs of students and stays current with developing health issues.
Academics and Speech
Catapult Educational Services provides professional support services for children needing assistance with academic basic skills, speech, and occupational therapy. Professional evaluation by a child study team is available to determine specific learning disabilities. Students qualify for assistance though teacher recommendation or through child study team referral. Services provided include compensatory education, supplemental instruction, in-class support, speech, and occupational therapy.
A varied, healthy, hot lunch menu is available to students each school day. They may also choose to bring their own lunch and may supplement it with the purchase of snacks and drinks. Special days with “make your own sundae” and other fun items also offer students a variety in the menu.
Classroom teachers, nursing staff, and administrators provide guidance and counsel for the students. Classroom teachers are available to address student needs with concern and compassion, referring them to nursing staff, administrators, and professionals when necessary.
Communication between teachers, administration, and families is achieved through weekly classroom newsletters and updates on the class page on Sycamore, the school's parent portal. Sycamore is updated regularly, and e-mails communicate with parents concerning upcoming events and deadlines.
