Ambassador Christian Academy is a Christ-centered PreK-12 school dedicated to providing a nurturing environment that fosters academic excellence, spiritual growth, and character development for all students. We offer a variety of interscholastic athletic programs that promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a healthy lifestyle, all in alignment with our school's mission: ACA prayerfully educates students for life and eternity with the gospel of Jesus Christ all for the glory of God.

We are seeking a passionate and qualified part-time Athletic Director to lead and oversee our athletic department.

Responsibilities:

● Leadership and Vision:
○ Provide Christ-centered leadership and direction for the entire athletic department, ensuring alignment with the school's mission and values. ○ Develop and implement a strategic vision for the growth and continual improvement of the athletic program.
○ Foster a positive and competitive athletic environment that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal development.

● Program Management:
○ Oversee all aspects of the athletic program, including budgeting, scheduling, transportation, equipment, and facilities.
○ Collaborate with administration and coaches to identify programmatic needs and ensure consistency across all sports.
○ Supervise and support coaches in their development and implementation of successful athletic programs.
○ Manage game operations, including scheduling officials, volunteers, and security.

● Compliance and Safety:
○ Ensure adherence to all league rules, regulations, and safety protocols. ○ Maintain clear communication with coaches, athletes, and parents regarding policies and expectations.
○ Oversee athletic training protocols and emergency response procedures.

● Community Relations:
○ Represent the school at athletic conferences, league meetings, and other relevant events.
○ Build and maintain positive relationships with coaches, parents, athletes, and the wider school community.
○ Promote the athletic program and its achievements to generate school spirit and support.

Qualifications:

● Strong commitment to Christian faith and a desire to integrate it into the athletic program.
● Bachelor's degree in physical education, sports administration, or a related field (preferred).
● Minimum of 3 years of experience in athletic administration or coaching at the 5th-12 level.
● Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
● Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and logistics effectively.
● Working knowledge of interscholastic athletic rules and regulations.
● Passion for athletics and a commitment to fostering a positive and Christ centered athletic environment.
